About this site
This is a free lookup tool for the Bangladesh Operative Tariff 2026-2027. It covers 7,469 tariff lines across 1,229 headings and 97 chapters, showing the full tax breakdown for each HS code rather than only the headline rate.
What the columns mean
- CD — Customs Duty
- SD — Supplementary Duty
- VAT — Value Added Tax
- AIT — Advance Income Tax
- RD — Regulatory Duty
- AT — Advance Tax
- TTI — Total Tax Incidence
All figures are percentages applied to the assessable value, which is normally the CIF value plus landing charges. The Total Tax Incidence is not a simple sum of the other columns, because the duties and taxes are applied in a defined sequence.
Lines with no TTI percentage
A small number of tariff lines show — instead of a TTI figure. These carry a specific duty: a fixed amount per unit of quantity, such as Taka per metric tonne, rather than a percentage of value. Sugar is the most common example. For those lines you must apply the published amount per unit.
Source and accuracy
Figures are taken from the Operative Tariff 2026-2027 published by the National Board of Revenue. This site is an unofficial convenience tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NBR. Rates change with each national budget and through intermediate SROs. Always confirm against the official tariff before filing a declaration or committing to a contract.
